I’m a little late – but the first Carnival of Radical Feminists is up via Heart. I’ve had a read through her entries and they are all fantastic – I can’t wait to read through them.

I think Radical Feminism has been given a lot of bad press, particularly recently but I think it has a lot to offer the world and women. For me, Radical Feminism has opened my eyes to things that I would otherwise have missed or overlooked.

 The women writing radical feminist blogs always seem to show me a new way of looking at things. No matter how much detractors of Feminism like to say that it is the cause of all the world’s problems (I would guess because they don’t want to focus on their own faults and privilege), it still continues to be a source of wonder, hope and knowledge for me. It continues to be a source of strength when I feel things are getting too hopeless and depressing.
