This blog came about from my need to have a space where I can vent my feelings, discuss my passions and just be creative. I am, first and foremost, a writer at heart, and because I find blogging such an accessible format – just log on, type and publish – I have chosen this medium rather than a notebook (of which I have many!).
I am a Feminist, and proud of it. I’m strongly anti-porn and anti prostitution and strongly pro woman. Many of the posts on my blog are and will be about feminism but not all as I have many other passions (Sci-Fi, culture, cats, travelling, disablism) in my life. Part of the reason for my move to WordPress is to start afresh and feel like I can move on and go further with my writing. So I hope you enjoy my writing, rants and moments of madness!
Just wanted to let you know that the title of your blog may be one of the best titles I’ve ever seen.

I’m both pro-choice and pro-life. I respect the right of everyone woman to have autonomy over her body and I also respect the right for women to have a full and fulfilling life.

In reply to dnxx1, I don’t believe it is possible to be pro-choice and not to be pro-life: the two are not mutually exclusive terms.
I am certainly pro-choice, but this does not mean I am anti-life. I support a woman’s right to be able to make informed and independent decisions about her own body. By this I mean she should (ideally) not be constrained by financial or social/work issues but should be able to make any decision based on what is best for her.
Pro-choice for me means exactly this: allowing a woman to have a REAL choice when it comes to pregnancy and abortion.
(Sorry to mouth off I just wanted to make this clear
).
